[GA] Ambassador J. C. Stevens in Benghazi
Re: Death of J. Christopher Stevens in Benghazi
The death of a brilliant diplomat is a grave loss to the United States.
One of the areas that requires investigation is the lack of gas masks and training on proper use. Fire is a serious weapon that was used during WWII and during other military engagements and conflicts. Every US embassy ought to be provided with this equipment and of course training in arms at regular intervals. If people at embassies do not bear arms they must know where to get them in an emergency on site.
We know the Marines are always available but when one is at war everyone must be prepared.
Thank you for the oppportunity to comment.
