Hello, as I was reading through the 1940 Census digitial information, I found out only District of Columbia, Delaware, Nevada and maybe one more state is completed. The other states are being processed.

I was looking for information from North Carolina and could not find anything.
So you see why NY is not in there yet. Read information on Ancestry.com about the 1940 Census. I hope this was useful info.
