Just in case you don't already have this: Herman died 18 March 1947. There were four other Black Grantham's that died in Cook County around this time, they were: Jerry L. (24 November 1947), Leslie (14 December 1937), Gloria (09 February 1945) and Bentley (03 June 1948). There is a link to the Illinois Death Index below if you'd like to obtain the certificate numbers to order any of these certificates. They tend to be very prompt (at least in my experience--smile).
