I was unable to find the family on the 1930 census and was only able to find them on the 1920 census because of the information LFM provided. Sorry, Ida, but at least you know now that they are on the 1920 census. I also tried to find John, Sr. and his wife Ida on earlier censuses in South Carolina and Florida, but was unable to locate them. John Henry is a much more common name than I thought.
