Thanks for the response arlene. I have received documents from va showing proof of his enlistment in army. I also found info on ancestry.com. my next step is to find him on 1920, 1930 and 1940 census. His date of birth is aug 24 1918. He had two brothers named john and joseph. They may be twins or one of them was my fathers twin. Hope this info will help in my search.
