There is going to be a Genealogy Conference 4-7 Oct 2012 in this city. It does not matter if your area of research is NOT NC, but know that there are classes that cover many different subjects of how to do research, speakers who talk about state archives to do research in and guest speakers from all over. This is a black well organized society that travels to different states to help us. If you have never did a workshop conference, try this one. Cost and information is on the website.
