Looking for 1863 Provost Marshall Marriage records for GGG-Grandparents Samuel Smith and Johanna Baker.

Samuel Smith and Johanna Baker left Ocean Springs, MS after the Emancipation Proclamation; they sought refuge at Ship Island which was occupied by Union Forces. From Ship Island they were taken to Saint Charles Parish where they were married under the law.
