Now if you needed a way to start a conversation with a senior family member in your family, so you can interview them--this would be a perfect 'door opener.' No matter what state you hail from, start a conversation and pull them facts out of as many family members as possible. And also if you have Ancestors from SC, the Afro Amer. Genealogy Society can be a very helpful society, whether your people lived in Edgefield or not. Some of those x-slaveholders lived close by.
