Stephen Cummings, my great great granduncle, was born about 1849 in Georgia, the sixth child and 3rd son of my great great great grandparents Benjamin and Julia Cummings. He married Ellen Moncrease on October 14, 1874 in Camp County, Texas. He most likely died between 1910 and 1920, his wife Ellen Moncrease Cummings was born about 1857 in Texas and died in 1944 in Camp County. They had 12 or 13 total children in all, only 8 were living by 1910. Only Pinkie (who may be same as Flora), William (a.k.a. Coot), and Henry have been located in census: 1900 Texas Camp 4-WD Pittsburg

The focus is on Stephen's son Joe M. Cummings, who was the 1st cousin of Joseph Benjamin "Buddie" Cummings (son of Joseph C. Cummings) and Joe A. Cummings (son of James Cummings). Joe M. Cummings was born about (April) 1886, he only appears in census with his parents in 1900 and then seems to disappear afterwards. This what makes it tricky, because I find other Joe Cummings in census that matches both cousins. This one in particular matches Stephen's son Joe: 1910 Texas Camp 3-PCT

A few houses down on the same page is a Henry Cummings, also working as a servant for a white family. Stephen Cummings also had a son named Henry, it can't be a coincidence that both Cummings are on the same page, both working as servants, and ten years earlier, the same Cadenhead (sp.?) family is listed one page prior (7 doors away) to the same Cummings family, with both Henry and Joe living with their parents, without being siblings. I believe these two are both the sons of Stephen. Now for the Dilemma: I have two death certificates that I am attaching. One death certificate has:

https://www.familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-267-11614-105886-60?cc=1320964 Information about the Informants:
I believe Eliza Smith is the same as Eliza Mathis, daughter of William "W. J." Matthews/Mathis and Emma Cummings. She was informant on the death certificate for her mother and father, and her sister Ethel Mathis Cooper. So she was the informant also on her uncle's death certificate, who is the brother of her mother. 1900 Texas Camp 2-PCT

I believe these two Joe Cummings are 1st cousins, one the son of James Cummings, and the other the son of Stephen Cummings, but one of the informants made a mistake and put the wrong parents. I want to put the right Joe Cummings with the right parents. Please Help. Thanks. I wanted to upload the images, but they were too big, so I just left a link to the images at familysearch.org, you will need to register (for free) if you havent in order to view them.
