I was also a Webtv owner. It was what I could afford at the time and did everything a computer did. I gave it up when family got tired of laughing at me and chipped in and bought a desk top computer so I could do this genealogy. I enjoyed as you did leaning back in my recliner and surfing the net. Those of you who laugh about it--don't. Once upon a time computers were so expensive, only the middle class could own one. Then came lap tops. I still don't want one at this time. It seems like any where you go some younger person feels they have a right to the biggest and the best on your dime. And it is tooo too easy to steal. And the stores--they all want that email address. I don't have one to share for junk electronic mail.
