I am looking for information on a bit of the history of The Woodland Plantation in southern Adams Co/Wilkinson Co. Mississippi.

The property map that I have of the land had the following plantations/farms bordering it as of about 1890: Deer Park, York, Duncan, Buckhurst, Beverly and Ormonde. It is bordered on the east by Second Creek.

My family came into possession of it in 1899 and then later again in 1918.

This is new information that I came across while researching in Adams County in an effort to discover historical legal paperwork (deed and plat maps) on the land.
