It may be so. The father to the aunt that i am looking for info on is Simon Morgan and his mother was Ailsey/Elsie Ingraham. When he was found on the 1880 census (Lunenburg Co. VA) he was listed as an Ingraham, then when he appeared again in 1900 (Brunswick Co. VA) his last name was Morgan. The name he gave as his father when he married my great-grand mother was Munford (Monford) Morgan.
