is anyone researching the above mentioned name or names? My grandmothers mom was named Mariah and the surname was Slater or Straughters.

I don't have a date of birth, just the info that she was born in Blackburg VA. She married (or lived with) a Preston Glenn and later married (or lived with) Spotwood Cooper.

She had children by both men. My grandmother is a result of her union with Spotwood Cooper.
