If you are not familiar with this, it is a listing of children in each household that were eligible to attend school. I saw it on a visit to the Jackson, Ms Archives and found my grgrandfather in the household with his father along with other school age siblings. All children in some households did not have the same surnames. This is a very helpful listing because it covers the different counties. They are seperated by the colored list and white list in these areas. It also can be used as a between year census starting from 1850 and jumps. These are names of the households.
