Amen, and a Thank You to the Ancestors!!!!

Putting the information we've gathered on the ancestors .... the families and communities in which they lived, when they lived, how they lived, etc. in some form of the media is a great way to honor them.

I remember when I started my genealogy journey some 20+ years ago of seldom seeing positive articles on people of color in genealogy journals, magazines and newsletters. Now with the technology available, social networking and the enthusiasm being generated for AA family history and genealogy it is almost criminal for us to not publicly tell our stories, individually and collectively.

We can write articles, books, do blogging, use websites, newsletters, journals, magazines, join genealogy societies, etc., the bottom line is we must do it.
