What years are covered in the book? Adams Church, formerly known as Adams Camp Ground, was organized in 1811 by a gruop that migrated to MS Territory from the Edgefield area of SC. The Adams family in this group brought their slaves. About half of this Adams family was Methodist and the other half was Baptist. They spread out on land that became different counties in MS. This book might be of interest to an Adams researching MS; especially since some of the names are Ramsey, Lucas, etc.
