I got an obituary for someone who died there in 1996 from the DCPL last summer. It took a couple of months and they actually apologized for the delay even though there was no charge. I did have all of the exact information about the obit (publication date, page, etc) but I can't seem to recall where I got that specific information from (perhaps a DC area genealogy website?). You can scour the library's website for info. If you're interested, I can try to forward the string of emails I exchanged with them.
