I know I have done this before, however, it has been a long time. Right now I am still looking for some of those North Carolinians who came out of Rowan County, and who may have lived in or know someone who has lived in a township called Gold Hill.
Gold Hill....close to the Cabarrus County line, is the place where much of my ancestry comes from. I am talking about House, Ingram, Heilig, Morgan, Strawder, and Timms, Melchoir. These are the African American families. Among those who are the White Americans were Russells, Culp, Goodman, and Trent.
So what I am asking for here are those persons associated with the names Ihave mentioned, and for those associated with a town called Gold Hill. Salisbury is the county seat.
