The only AA high school in Tyler, TX was Emmett Scott HS. My family is from that area and none of them had any knowledge of an Indian college or any other Indian school in the area. East Texas did not have a significant Indian population, if any at all. Indians in East Texas had been forced from the area when Anglos arrived.
