Hi Ed Adams. Thanks for posting to this. I visit the area when I can, although not as much as I did when I was residing in TX. I've found some good records while visiting Woodville, Wilkinson Co., MS. Adams Co. is a challenge for me, so many records. My primary family of focus are the Ellis-Farrar family and some of their descendants. They did in fact own my Rounds' and did record them on their personal slave inventories, at least 3 generations. I would like to have them all recognized and a permanent display set up eventually at the African-American museum there in Natchez.
My family surname research in the Natchez District area includes Rounds, Washington (don't think that they originated in this area), Earls, Henyard, McFarland, Thompson, Moore, Galmore/Galimore, Gordon, Perkins, Barnes, and Owens.
Thanks again Ed.
