Hi Angela. Have you tried a web search? There are many websites that chronicle the history of transportation in the U.S. This history includes names of mills, lumber companies, cooperages, etc. that provided services. Some even provide the names of company employees. I would suggest looking for railroads, mills, logging companies in TN, MS and AR. Happy hunting.
