[TN] Ed L. Jone-looking for Descendants

Ed was first found in 1900 with his grandfather Felix Ragland and I THINK mother Ellen Ragland bn 1879. There was also a Paralee Ragland bn 1883, sister of Ellen.
There were 3 children in this household all with different surnames...
Montague, Rian J bn 1890(female)
Jones, Ed bn 1897
Hunt, Wm bn 1899
I am beginning to believe that this family group came from a different state just but never settled into one during the census until 1900. I cannot find any of them by first or last name after this year.
I did find Ed Jones name in 1919 as the witness to Sally Fields marriage. I don't know if this was a sister or cousin. There doesn't seem to be anything else confirmed about him. On the SSI there is a Ed Jones bn 1898 TN, that died 1973 in TN. I don't want to take the chance and lose $27 requesting an original copy of the SSI application because information does not tell me if this person is white are black. I keep posting this in hopes that maybe someone can check at the Memphis Tn Archives for any information about him and family. Possibly there is a city directory that would give an address for him from 1919 to wherever it ends. Thanks in advance :)
