I am looking for descendants of James and Jennie Hackney of Lebanon, Wilson Co. TN. They have at least one daughter, Elizabeth (Betsy) Young and a granddaughter, Levinia Bond or Vaughn. Also listed in the household in 1860 was a Harry Hackney and James, Caroline, Ann, Mary and Julia Young (presumedly the children of Betsy). They were Free, listed on both the 1850 and 1860 census in Lebanon TN.

They were named in an affidavit by my 2nd great grand uncle as the family who nursed him back to health after he was accidently shot by a "comrade" after a guard shift at "the college" (possibly Cumberland University)during the Civil War.

I would love to find any living descendants of this family.
