Ya never know. That's always a possibility. The Bryant family was a major family in colonial North Carolina. I appreciate your help. I talked to a descendant of George Bryant and Matilda Salone and told her the news. She was excited to say the least even though our connection was distant, but still related. Well, It turns I'm a distant relative of Edward Davis, the first African-American to own an auto dealership who moved to Detroit from Shreveport. Edward's mother and my great-great grandmother[Julia Anne Lovick] were 1st cousins.
