My purpose is gathering data on Eva Clayton is to connect the dots within my family history. I presume A. D. Jones moved to MS just as many others educated in the North: to teach in Southern schools, mostly at the college level prohibited to them with Northern locations. In accumulating sources while connecting my family dots, it provides me with a broader sense of what family members went through for relaying to my younger relatives so each may appreciate what is much easier for them to reach. I will take your suggestion to contact historical societies in MS, when time is available. Ohio is my primary state for research and we were all over the place! Thanks again for your assistance.
