I am (possibly) interested in getting and obituary for a Harry Schaffer who died in Toledo in 1916. What's the procedure for getting an obituary from the library for this time period ? I saw that there was an online index from 1970-current. How did you know there would be an obituary published for you ancestors in 1916 ? Did you just take your chances or is there another index that I missed ?
