Re: [MS] Loggins

If her husband was Alex, this might be the family in 1910: 1910 United States Federal Census
On the image they are enumerated as a separate household, living in the same dwelling (#919) with a widowed Edith Nally, 48, born in MS. And another widow, 55, Martha Love, and her 20 y/o son, Frank Burton. The census reflects both Alex and Bell reported this as a first marriage for them, and Bell reported she was the mother of 4 children but only 2 living. Have you ordered a copy of her original application for a SocSec #? She would have been required to list her parents' names including her mother's maiden name. This could be her SSDI listing: Social Security Death Index
Linda Durr-Rudd could probably obtain a copy of Alex and Bell's marriage certificate (email rtnlinda@earthlink.net) and her website is http://www.angelfire.com/folk/gljmr/index.html. Sometimes witness names on the marriage certificate can provide helpful info: Mississippi Marriages, 1776-1935
