Can someone help me out with this one. For the 1880 census for Montgomery County, in Mississippi. There are children in the household with him; but it says for the children "Something other than direct Relationship" what does this mean? Because if you look at the other census with the children it says those are children to Dutch and wife Lina.

Children listed are Mattie, Belle, Dutch, Herry.
And are these in fact Dutch & Lina Loggins children? What's the relationship with Emma Loggins for that time??
