I am not am not sure this will go to Shelby Co. but I am seeking information on the Gabriel Families of Iredell and Catawba Counties in N.C. Charlie Gabriel and wife Lousia who were listed in the 1878-1880 census of Iredell Co. Charlie may have had brothers and sisters. Most Black Gabriel's were listed in Catawba Co. That doesn't mean that Charlie had moved from family members. Other Gabriels that might have knowledge could be Rhoda, Letha, Charles and Lusinda, Wilson, James and Sina, Wilson, William and Rosy who was found from 1870 until 1930.
