I forgot to add that the tool only lists the present day county for the town. For example the tool lists:

1) Caseyville, MS as Lincoln County
2) Brookhaven, MS as Lincoln County

Lincoln County, MS was created in 1870. Caseyville was located in Copiah County prior to 1870 and during slavery time. Brookhaven was located partly in Copiah County and partly in Lawrence County before 1870.
