Riley says make life better for Black Belt

MONTGOMERY | Gov. Bob Riley on Tuesday encouraged members of the new Black Belt Action Commission to focus on one goal.
Riley said commission members should strive “to make life better for people in that region."
“We have resources," Riley said, “but it’s up to us to develop a plan."
Riley said the key to improving economic conditions in west-central Alabama is to work at the local level.
