Do you have any information about the short lived county in Louisiana that became part of Carroll Parish?

I believe it was Warren County and it lasted only a few years. I read a court case where a plantation owner there was sued and gave up a number of slaves. I'm not sure of the spelling of her last name. It might have been Ates.
