Does anyone know anybody at the Independent Church of Christ which was (at least in around 1948) at the corner of 18th and Paloma? I have been trying to find out of the services involved receiving spirits, (i.e. speaking in tongues.)

Also, around that same time, maybe early '50's, did anybody attend the All People’s Christian Church? I think it was on Wilshire. The photo shows recent immigrants and African-Americans together. (Looks like a very interesting church.)

And of course, we can't forget First AME. Did anybody attend FAME around those late '40's early 50's? When it was still at 8th and Towne. What were services like?

I'd really appreciate a few moments of memory if any of these church ring a bell (sorry for the bad pun.)
