Good name, it's my aunt who was born in Eastover SC.
Well i just read your post about going to Columbia,SC for resarch via Amtrak,etc. Well i just visited my daughter who are stationed in Fort Jackson, she introduced me to the library there and the history area is on the 4th. floor, i met the librian (Debbie Bloom) who was very helpful,she gave info about my g-parents in SC i never knew. She also gave me direction's to the Archive's and web sites there is more info. Plus i went down via Amtrak from New York.
