Yes Oscar is my gg Uncle. My ggg fathers Amos's son. He was the youngest son and whom burned to death in a house fire.

Amos Everett's fathers name as listed on his death certificate was Orter, which as we all know could have been mis spelled. I have tried Arther,Orther,Author is it possible that Oscar could have been his fathers name as well.

I took another look at the 1900 census where Amos is found in Texas but their names are spelled as Amas Everidge but his list his father as being born in Alamaba.
