My great-grandparents where from Greene County, but I've also been researching some of my grandmothers cousins trying to determine how they are related. (Hoping that it provides a clue about my great-grandmother).

Came across the death certificate of the dad of one of my grandmother's cousins and it listed his birthplace as Mattison and his parents were born in Little River.

To date my search area for maternal grandmothers line covers Walton, Greene, possibly Occonee (great uncles were born there) and now possibly Morgan.
