I must say this, in 2007 I posted a query on the PINKNEY forum at Rootsweb. I did not have a lot of information like I do now, but still no cousins have popped up. This day in 2009 someone remembered the name from grade school and realized it was someone with a different spelling (without the 'c', Pinckney is what I have been also working with) and emailed me the information they remembered. This person lived on the East Coast, as where most of the documented family I have found, lived. So with another posting I just made, I am hoping it doesn't take another 2 years for some type of answer. The moral is keep your email current and updated on all websites, even if you have to go back and rewrite queries. And for those of you who read obits, don't stop. Someone who does, so also has emailed me some new information about another surname I posted. Maybe this is my year
