I am requesting a 'look see' for Eva and Sallie Pinkney in Shelby NC city directory for 1947/8. Since I don't have Ancestry.com I can only describe the window clip that I could view from the posting. I know for Sallie Pinkney the letter(c) is next to her name and that was always a way to tell you if a person was colored, maid. Eva's name and address, from what was shown did not have this, paternmaker. I don't have a clue how it is listed but I did see Shelby NC in one of the clips shown, so I assume that would be a starting place.
