I used to stay on Family Search. Hadn't been there in years and I see there is new stuff. Ancestry is one thing I can't afford. I'll just have to do the free thing at the Library.
I see I can't get around going to SC. I sure wish my family here knew some of the extended family lived in SC. No one seems to know anything, or won't tell me. My mother is the oldest and seemed to know a lot. But no knowledge of her grandmother's true birthplace. A sister pops up with little tidbits but only after I have to pull it out. She seems to think I know stuff. I kind of feel there was a secret reason that grgrandmother relocated to Mississippi. Maybe it was to save her life. WHO KNOWS! No one alive to tell me.
