Greetings - I'm researching descendents of slaves in White, Warren, possibly Grundy and Van Buren counties. One family name in particular is Savage - residents of Warren county - and any ties to George And Elizabeth Kenner Savage. George and Elizabeth are parents of John Houston
Savage. Am not positive, but have good evidence they were slave owners. Am looking for possible grave sites, slave quarters, records.
