Richard, Thanks so much for this. Wow, most of my family I found in these records. Jack Turns died 1 month before his son Wyatt in 1918. Years ago my father spoke of this time as being very sad for the family. He talked about 3 deaths being in the same year or around the same time. This was the main motivation to migrate to Atlantic City/Pleasantville, New Jersey, looking for a better and safer way to make a living. This Jack Turns I thought may be the African-American Civil War soldier. Thanks again,
