Sorry I hit the submit button twice but am back tracking to make sure that the info I posted came through. I am dearly looking for any information on Benjamin Lyon (1780-1859) who ended up in Franklin CO. at the Snow Hill Cloister and was bound to a Jacob Snowberger. I have seen he was a runaway slave from ? VA/MD area, and married a Mary Polly Heck. I am trying to go back as far as possible to find out where he came from, if possible. (As in what Lyon Plantation). He is my g-g-g-grandfather. Any help would be appreciated, if possible.
