NEGRO BOY HANDY WITH KNIFE

Columbus, GA Aug 3, 1903

Ed Davis, a negro boy, 14 years of age, today attacked Robert Williams, another boy, on Twelfth street with a knife, sticking it in his head and slashing his arm. The wounds are very painful, but not fatal. Davis threatened to cut a gentlemen who took him in charge until the police arrived.
