While "googling" for tidbits or info on Attala County, MS, or to see if there were any interesting sites put up by other researchers, I came across a very interesting site placed by Janice Tracy, "Attala County Memories". Old photos, historical facts intermingled with her own family research and mysteries (don't we all have them?). She is admittedly a white woman who has uncovered credible information that points to her AA or NA or ?? ancestry. Interesting blog entries (I did not know that O. J. Simpson and Tina Turner both have ties to the same area where Oprah Winfrey lived as a young girl. Read some of her blog entries.
