[LA] Hammond-1917 lynching
Emma Hopper (Born 1872?) of Hammond La.
On March 2, 1917 she shot and wounded a white boy and then shot a police
Officer who tried to arrest her. She was lynched by a mob. The officer
died about 2/3 weeks later of wounds
