On the census for Johnston SC I found a relative that was listed as a teacher. I wrote the Library in Edgefield and Johnston for information about the name. Nothing was found. Do you think there may be other phamplets somewhere that list teachers names in other communities. My ancestor either, married, died or just moved. I can't find anything up and into 1930. Short of going to the archives or to Edgefield to do research, I am stuck. Money and time is not an option. Also getting to these small towns, Greyhound does not go that far. You must rent a car and drive in. This is another expense not including hotels. Also places to eat, close up after certain hours. So you have to drive to another place to do that. Anyway I regress cause of the frustration. Back to how did you find this gold mine?
