Joan,
What parish in Louisiana and what specific branches?
My Reed and Walker families were from Claiborne Parish, Louisiana.
The earliest of my ancestors arrived in Claiborne Parish circa 1852. Many of the descendants still live there.
Some of the descendants moved to parts of Southwest Arkansas circa 1894.
