I think the mural is beautiful. I am always happy to see African Americans displayed in a city's history. There are some places you visit that have sanitized our existence from public view in any form. There is one similar to this in downtown Lufkin, Texas which depicts the selling of cotton and the lumber industry. There was another about the railroad, I only have a portion of the mural since my camera batteries died mid shot.
