My dad was born in Coffeeville, MS. His name is LaBelle Campbell, Jr. His parents are LaBelle Campbell Sr. and Evelyn Robinson or Roberson-Campbell born or raised in Grenada, MS and moved to Alton, IL. LaBelle, Sr. maybe from AK or TN not sure. Surrey and Shelby Campbell are related. Glen Campbell is related. LaBelle, Sr. had a sister who married a McCollough (check spelling) her name was Pauline. Other ancestors Purnell, Alexander, Fox. The Fox family on Evelyn Robinson or Roberson's side of the family owned funeral homes. Some relatives still practice it in the Alton area. Carrie Smith is related to me. She is my grandfather's, LaBelle Campbell, Sr.s, sister. I also remember that LaBelle, Sr. had many siblings. They also lived in or around Grenada, MS.
