I'm not sure if I can be any of assistance but I am a direct descendent of Alrred Brevard of Camden SC that you refer to in your census data. I'm unsure if you are referring to my great great grandfather or my great great grandfather who were both named Alfred Brevard. I believe my cousin may have some slave records from the Brevard Springs Plantation were my great grandfather was born just after the end of slavery. She managed to find the bill of slaves from when Alfred Brevard purchased my great great grandmother and her brother and mother from Alabama. My great great grandmother had two children by Alfred Brevard II named Carter and Julius Brevard. born 1863 and 1866 at Brevard Springs in Camden, SC.
